Bioplastic from plant based biomass

Event Description

- Current use, production, and industrial interest

BioValue SPIR and Novozymes host a seminar where large companies and academic groups are invited. The purpose of the seminar is to facilitate multi-lateral collaboration activities for people with an interest in developing, producing, or utilising plastics made from plant based biomass. BioValue is the largest private-public partnership for innovation and research on biorefinery in Denmark, and future activities in the BioValue SPIR programme is open for multi-lateral collaboration activities.

The focus of the seminar is bioplastic, defined as plastic made from plant based biomass, but not necessarily biodegradable. Issues of recycling bioplast will come at a later time, if grounds for collaborations prove present.

Participation is free of charge, but only a limited number of seats are available, so registration is needed and binding.
